I found another comic today that I like:
It’s called Edmund Finney’s Quest to Find the Meaning of Life. It reminds me a bit of Edward Gorey‘s work. That’s a good thing.
Finally! The Unbalanced Humors Bookstore is live, and ready to sell books to you! Well, right now it’s only one book… Unbalanced Humors: Five Issues. But as soon as I have enough comic strips to make a Circuit book, that’ll be there too.
Unbalanced Humors: Five Issues is the entire black-and-white print collection of Unbalanced Humors issues, which, in case you didn’t know, were the main purpose of this website until Circuit came along and took all the attention away. If you haven’t seen them yet, you should check them out right away.
You can get to the bookstore via the above link, or by clicking on the button up on the menubar. Buy several copies for yourself, and also buy several copies for the holidays! Just think of it… your gift will be so cool, it’ll make everyone else in your family look like jerks! Sure, they might be a little jealous of your gift-giving prowess, but when you also give them a copy, they’ll have no choice but to acknowledge your greatness.
Tomorrow I head over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house. Where I’m from, the Internets are still a somewhat foreign notion, and even cell phone service is not a sure bet, which means that I’ll be suffering through severe techno-withdrawal over the holidays.
But just because I can’t surf the world wide webs doesn’t mean you have to suffer. Circuit will be running right through the week, Christmas included. And though I hadn’t planned on doing a Christmas strip, the idea of not doing one seemed more Grinch-like than I could bear, so… you’ll see.
I leave you now with a clip from one of my favorite childhood Christmas specials about a folk-music-playing otter.
Merry Happy!
