Circuit iPhone App!

March 12th, 2010 | by Luke!

Yeah, that’s right, you read the title correctly.  You can now download the Circuit iPhone app from the iTunes store! It’ll hook you up with a feed to the comic, so you can receive each installment (and occasional blog post) without even having to think about it. Finally… a legitimate reason to own an iPhone! And it’s free, so there’s absolutely no reason not to get it. Unless you’re like me, and don’t own an iPhone. But even that’s not a very good reason. It’s more of an excuse to go out and get yourself a friggin’ iPhone, already. Or one of those nice iPads, maybe. So you can blow the comic up really huge and show it to someone several feet away from you.

Many, many thanks to James Harknell and Onezumi Studios for producing the app… for free! Harknell has this neat operation called Webcomics Central, where Circuit and other webcomics with iPhone apps hang out. In fact, if you have a webcomic, and you ask him really nice-like, Harknell will make one for you, too! Again, no reason for you not to do it, even if you don’t own an iPhone. Ask him to whip you up an app and submit it to the iTunes store… it’ll help establish Webcomics Central as a gathering place for webcomics, it’ll help people read your comic, and it’ll help you. Because you’ll have an iPhone app and all. Did I mention it costs nothing?

And if you’re more about reading webcomics than actually making them, you should check out Onezumi’s Stupid and Insane Defenders against Chaos and My Annoying Life. And you can still check out Webcomics Central, because there are some other comics there besides Circuit that you might like also.

You can click right here for the link to the iTunes store where you can download the Circuit app. Also, there’s a nice little button over there on the left-hand column, next to the RSS feed thingy and the Twitter thingy. You know… right over the calendar and right under the new ad that I just put up about buying some of my T-shirts (hint hint).

I’m going to close with a screenshot of what my app looks like, because I love it so much.
